CITATION™ e-Remit is a PC based software solution designed to deliver automated payments processing (lockbox) functionality. The product’s flexibility is derived from a modular design allowing deployment of one or more modules, on single or multiple workstations, at centralized or distributed locations.

The modules include:
i-Capture: Captures images and data from payment documents (checks and remittance documents) for processing.
Processing: Organizes and edits batches of payment transactions received from i-Capture.
Balancing and Reporting: Consolidates, balances, deposits and details (reports and data files) all transaction batches that have been processed.
Archival and Retrieval: Maintains a history of all transaction images and data. Performs research queries and produces electronic media records for delivery to customers.
i-View: Provides on-line Internet access to daily transaction reports and files for download and research activities.
Remote Capture: Modularization allows for each bank to provide certain functionality (i.e. remote lockbox capture to satisfy a customer’s specific mail requirements) while assigning all remaining lockbox production (Processing, Balancing and Reporting, and/or Archival) to a centralized location.
